This is the key online self-service area for all Crystal Umbrella contractors. It is open 24/7, 365 days a year and brings a whole host of benefits directly to your fingertips whenever you need them.

This simple, timesaving and secure online portal enables you to carry out the very minimal number of administrative tasks we require of you and can be accessed at any time of the day or night, to suit your own lifestyle. While it may often feel as though you need a degree in quantum mechanics to understand and operate many of our competitor's portals ours, we are sure you will be pleased to learn, is not like that, instead it is 'crystal clear'.

In parallel with its simplicity of use, our portal is linked directly to our internal customer management systems, which enables us to provide real time support and communication. These features give us the confidence to say that we consider ours to be one of the best portals around.

What can you do online? Perhaps it would be easier to say what you can't do, but here's the list.


Web portal online features

  • Timesheets - upload, amend and save. When you're ready just hit submit to transfer your fully completed timesheet directly to us. This allows us to raise invoices more quickly and enables us to provide a more efficient service.
  • Budgeted expenses - upload, amend and save both Crystal business expenses and rechargeable expenses and hit submit when you're ready.
  • Receipts - unlike many Umbrellas, we always ask for copies of receipts; you should always keep the original. You can upload photos, PDFs or scans of receipts and statements and link them directly to an individual expense submission. The benefits for you? No postage, no lost receipts and no form filling.
  • Invoices - when you upload and submit timesheet and expense claims the data is sent straight to our invoicing team to be double-checked. Invoices are raised and posted online, so you can see exactly what is being sent to your agency or client.
  • Payments - when received on your behalf they are posted online and available for you to review. They are automatically processed on the day of receipt and transferred to your bank account within two working days.
  • Contracts - upload copies of your contract and as soon as our Compliance Team has assessed them, we'll load them onto the web portal for you to review or simply keep safe for your records. You don't need to save copies; we will keep them safe and sound for seven years.
  • Register a new account - available 24/7, it takes just ten minutes for a member of our New Business Team to guide you through the simple registration process.

Although online submission is the fastest and most efficient method of operating, we are not in the business of trying to squeeze a round peg into a square hole, so if you're a complete technophobe or don't have access to the Internet, we won't force you to use the portal, honest. We have a range of other options available, from fax and email to good old-fashioned snail mail.
